Pros

There is nothing good about this organization. Its absolutely a fraud one.

Cons

Once you enter their office, you will get a whiff of how depressing the place is. They offer you lucrative salary and hire you, once you join, they expect you to be their slave! The bunty- bubly husband wife duo thinks that they know everything, no matter how much effort you put, you will never be appreciated. And if you try to voice your opinion, bang, you will receive a termination letter the next day. They are terrible at retaining employees and make you work thrice the amount they pay you. And not to mention their fraud moneymaking events, they make employees work to level that they fall sick, with terrible accomodation options and forcing people to eat only what the founder and his wife wants. And the worst part, they dont even pay you for overtime instead deduct your salary giving vague reasons. The promised bonus is never given. Oh, and once you leave, they will find a way to delay your final payment as well, taking time to find different ways deprive you of your hand earned money The organizationis completely fraud with no ethical value. They don't consider you as a human being but as machines. I will never recommend anyone to join here. It is better to remain jobless than work in this absolutely terrible organization.

Pros

When I joined NGOBOX in Gurgaon in 2015, it was a small org with Bhomik and two more team members. The org was trying to scale up the platform and create a few other service portfolio. Being an early mover in CSR space and then host of flagship event India CSR Summit, it helped me a lot to understand both non-profit and for-profit world. As I was focal point for the Awards, it helped me a lot to understand businesses and their understanding of social sector. As we were a small team so we had to follow tight deadline and this helped me to build my capacities. I was instrumental in the launch of first few e-books. Overall, for me it proved to be a good platform to build my next level career plan and get hands on sectoral understanding. When I met Bhomik in Sept 18 the org had already grown form 4 to 12 and they are building a bigger team. good to see this. Yes, one things that amazed me is salary credit on time. Irrespective of the fact where Bhomik be, we used to get salary credit notification right on spot

Cons

At times it was monotonous to work on same project type and then there was a small tea to interact with. Finally, they have grown moderately bigger! Start-ups have their own challenges and it takes time for both employer and employees to get things sorted!

Pros

I worked with this organisation for 6 months, and the organisation has been nothing but respectful and reasonable towards me. There were zero conflicts with middle or top management. Any concerns that i had were taken into immideate consideration and all problems were almost immidietly resolved. There is zero office politics and good work is always recognised. Mistakes are always met with polite correction and never with unforgiving anger or resentment. Sure, there are tight deadlines sometimes, and if you make mistakes, you will have to work the entire night fixing up your deliverables but they are almost always doable in office hours if done correctly and efficiently the first time. I was exposed to a wide array of tasks and responsibilities in my short time at the organisation. Anyone who is considering NGOBOX or CSRBOX must definitely go for it if they are looking for a great learning experience (and above market pay as well!). The only reason I left the organisation was for further studies but I am so glad that i had the opportunity to work with them and i hope to be associated with them again in the future.

Cons

Work may not always be in line with your position. There is a culture of people staying way beyond office hours (but it is not necessary as they usually always respect your time as long as you are punctual and there are no tight deadlines for deliverables).
