Pros
Results oriented, Very smart people, had the " get it done " attitude. Would invest in initiatives if a reasonable case was put forward. Acquisition oriented, bringing some interesting products into the portfolio
Cons
Culture at the time was too male dominated and aggressive and tough for women to have even a chance at senior management positions or development support to do so. There was a distinct fear of top management and strong sense of job protection.
