Cons
-No expense compensation. they have "expense allowance" but only for certain things (not gas or travel) and if you fall below a certain margin you lose it and have to pay it back. -Terrible health benefits, not even available to most agents -Compensation initially seems great, especially as a new agent, but they do not tell you about chargebacks, loss of your training allowance (which is supposed to make up for being new), tiny rules and regulations that can hold up or set back your business. -Not willing to allow you your own schedule anymore. As of 1/1/11 certain offices have moved to have agents follow an internally-created schedule that has lots of mandatory evening meetings, not enough administrative time, and requires work some Saturdays as well -Morning class environment sometimes negative and can hurt agents morale. I have personally witness some of the best agents in the office being "called out" by name in front of the class for minor mistakes, even when their production levels far exceed everyone else's! There has been a real shift from focusing on "positive client acquisition" and "where there is no need there is no sale" ethical selling to "case rate, case rate, case rate" and pushing individuals to sell to clients who may not need the products or in this troubling economic climate may not be able to afford them long term in order to meet certain production standards.
