Pros

Career development was the greatest pro Nettitude offered although the pay didn't match. But now expenses and training budgets are being frozen because we are feeling the pinch.

Cons

Lost its charm. Nettitude 4-5 years ago was a wonderful place, managers cared for their employees and even senior management did. It was a family culture, now it's way too corporate. Noone cares for how you feel, managers push agendas given to them by executive management without care of the employee. We are no longer a family, feels like individuals competing for positions. Very toxic culture. SOC, Pentesters, Sales, Red Team and PD used to work as a team. Used to talk as friends and really get to know each other. Now everyone just talks about business. Used to be one team, no longer that. Expenses and budgets being frozen, career development has stalled. Pay is not in line with the rest of the industry. They get you in (cheap), train you up which is fair enough but then you are not paid according to your skill level. It's based on who you know as opposed to what you know.

Pros

Nettitude is, far and away, the best professional experience of my life. Incredibly smart but humble people from the top down. I was entrusted with high profile projects at the start, but the leadership was careful to let me know that they'll ease me into the work and encouraged me to be honest if I'm struggling. People were generous with their time, including executive leadership, in explaining the project and the strategy while also being open to my recommendations. During COVID Nettitude was proactive in protecting its people and demonstrated genuine concern for the well being of personnel throughout. They also conducted a pro-active salary review against industry standards, and I got an unexpected raise based on it. Finally, great training program that integrates with the annual employee review cycle where you agree on learning objectives with you manager and then have training options presented. This is the first time in my 30 years of working that I've seen a true employee development program.

Cons

I can't think of any negatives worth noting. I suppose it would be good to have an occasional in person gathering that's optional. Maybe 2 x / year.

Pros

People at my level were good to work with

Cons

They have no idea how their customers find them or what the value prop is.
