Pros
- The environment is fantastic & full of like-minded people.
- Casting and "higher-ups" are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and they care deeply about our safety.
- Even when not in the haunt, working front of house is fun because you can interact with everyone outside.
- There is no shame if there is ever a reason you are unable to haunt throughout the whole night. Casting really wants you to prioritize your own health over everything else.
Cons
- Expect to get punched at worst, or injured in some other way at best.
- Expect also for people to be rude to you, even in the five seconds you interact with them.
- Do not apply for this job for the money. If you apply for this job with that mindset, you will not enjoy it.
- Be wary of creepy customers. Many haunt actors get harassed while in costume.
