Pros

Pros: Some good designers and peer learning (if you survive the pressure)

Cons

I worked at NetBramha Studios and my experience was deeply disappointing. What could have been a great design company turned out to be one of the most stressful environments I’ve ever been in. The management culture is highly micromanaged with no flexibility at all. Even a few minutes of delay in reaching office can lead to half-day salary deductions, which feels completely unfair — especially when you’re already overworked and staying late because of tasks assigned by management at the end of the day. They constantly overburden employees with work, often giving you additional internal projects even when you’re already dedicated to a retainer client project. Despite being transparent about bandwidth, you’re expected to deliver both, and if you can’t, you’re made to feel like you’re not doing enough. There’s zero empathy or understanding from senior management. The moment you try to explain your side or stand up for yourself, the narrative flips — they’ll say you should have refused the work (though the pressure to accept is real) or they’ll question your efficiency. It’s a blame-shifting system designed to protect management and not support employees. Managers here only manage downwards, not upwards, even though managing expectations is part of their job. They should not just pressure designers and project teams but also manage expectations upwards — that’s missing here. Leads often turn a blind eye to these issues, and there’s a culture of public humiliation and insults, which makes things worse. The company should focus on internal management, employee well-being, and culture rather than the façade they promote on LinkedIn. Honestly, I believe the only people doing a good job are the marketing team, because they manage to get eyeballs on LinkedIn — that’s where the company thrives, not in actual work. All projects look the same, because they’re stuck in old ways of working, old design styles, and you won’t learn much. They also constantly refer to the employment agreement policies, which are very unfair and one-sided. If they hired an actual lawyer to review them, you’d find loopholes that only benefit the employer. It’s not even in line with labor laws — for example, requiring notice periods even when employees are on probation, which is a huge red flag. Their agreement is heavily tilted in their favor, and they lean on it when justifying their unfair practices. There are some talented people, but the system doesn’t let them thrive. If you value mental health, work-life balance, or basic fairness — this isn’t the place for you. Micromanagement, toxic leadership, overwork, salary deductions, no empathy, outdated design practices, no upward management, unfair and one-sided employment policies, public humiliation and insults from CEO.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, as we are consistently working to make NetBramha a positive and productive environment for our team. Ordinarily, we would not discuss individual employee circumstances publicly to protect everyone's privacy. However, since this review presents a specific and misleading narrative, we feel it is necessary to provide context to ensure a balanced picture. The individual in question was part of the company for a limited period, during which we experienced significant and documented challenges. Despite multiple attempts from their managers to provide support and guidance, we observed persistent and severe communication gaps, both internally and with our clients. This included missing client calls multiple times even after repeated reminders from the client and us. These gaps directly impacted project outcomes and were raised as a primary concern by clients on several occasions. Specifically, this included not following basic processes such as attending client stand-ups or updating time logs, which led to substandard deliverables as highlighted by the client. Furthermore, we received consistent feedback about an approach to work that demonstrated a lack of care for project quality and for safeguarding the company's hard-earned reputation. We also noted that they lied on several occasions to the client and to us, misusing the trust placed in them. This was compounded by a disregard for company policies, including taking unapproved leaves multiple times during the probation itself and coming in late repeatedly (having 12 days unapproved leaves, 4 days late arrivals; within a 22 working day-month). Additionally, the individual did not adhere to mandatory studio training requirements and failed to notify the team or request leave, resulting in compliance issues. In short, they deviated from every possible policy listed and signed. We also noted actions that created unnecessary confusion, such as requesting work-from-home arrangements despite it not being company policy, and asking the client to advocate for this even after a backup resource had been provided. It is important to note that all our company policies, including those mentioned above, are clearly outlined in an employment agreement that is meticulously crafted to be fully in line with all applicable legal and labor laws. This agreement is designed to protect the rights and outline the responsibilities of both the employee and the employer equally, ensuring a fair and transparent working relationship. Unfortunately, even after structured intervention, the performance and communication issues continued to deteriorate. The situation culminated when they absconded for 4-5 days without any communication until multiple people reached out from the studio. Due to that we had to face major backlash from the client. Which has tampered our relationship that we have built over the years. We stand by our policies, which are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and high-quality delivery for our clients and an equal opportunity ground for all our team members. Our commitment to our employees' well-being is reflected in the team members who thrive and grow with us and have been doing so for the last 18 years. We are proud of the work we do and the culture we build. It is regrettable that your work style did not match with ours, which is understandable, but it does not mean that you malign reputations and disregard every wrong that you have done. Regardless, we wish you the best in your future endeavors. The NetBramha Team

Pros

Design-Led Culture: The environment is incredibly creative. Even for non-designers (like developers), it is inspiring to work alongside such talented UI/UX professionals. Quality of Work: You get to work on very diverse and high-impact projects. The standard of delivery is high, which pushes you to upskill constantly. Collaboration: The teams are supportive. There is very little hierarchy, and cross-functional collaboration between design and tech teams is seamless. Onboarding: The hiring and onboarding process is professional and gives you a clear idea of what to expect.

Cons

Fast-Paced: As an agency/studio, the pace can get very fast. Deadlines are sometimes tight, which requires good time management.

Pros

The senior people who used to work here were great and could learn a lot from them especially at a junior level but they longer are there due to the employers actions.

Cons

The list is unfortunately a little too long but mostly all of it boils down to management and the people who run the place. Their micro-management, lack of respect for the team and endless pretence in front of the world to reality of things behind doors is beyond belief. Mental health will take a toll for sure
