The best part of working with Head Start is the children, if they like you you will know it.. if they don't like you, you will know it!! They speak what's on their mind and they are brutally honest! But I loved every minute I had over the 10 years that I had with my kiddos. If only the classroom and children were all we had to focus on every day.

The massive amount of assessments, documentation, TS Gold data entry, other roles that I would find myself doing in the program that wasn't any part of my my title. And the trauma some children experience at this young age, I've lived my own trauma's, but witnessing theirs is heartbreaking..and especially when we a mandated reporters and have to make those calls, as well as show up for court trials. This was the experience for me that I had to step back from. Hey 10 years tho, that's a good stretch.. time for a positive change in my life!
