Pros

Relative flexibility in working hours to help family life. Great people in Belfast office (well of what there is left) and strong willingness to 'do things right' in Belfast. Work from home policy, albeit minimal options to take Remnants of a once strong culture of work hard/play hard, innovation and enjoy your working day.

Cons

Having spent several years working for NaviNet there was an open and transparent culture, with a clear direction and strong leadership. Since a takeover in Jan 2016 things have moved south significantly. Inheriting a company with a great feel-good culture, full of enjoyment, innovation, respect and togetherness and turning it into almost the opposite inside 12 months is an achievement, though not a wanted one. Whilst there is clearly a willingness in some sites/people (in particular Belfast) to retain these values, there is a lack of strong direction and decision making to make it a reality. A new COO may help that, but doubts remain. A lack of NaviNet folks at the upper management level who where behind the success is not a step in right direction either. The takeover from NantHealth promised growth, a clear direction and a strong ambitious purpose. This has not thus far been delivered, and in fact their has been downsizing (particularly in Belfast where a lot of good engineers have seen enough and left), confusion and disorganisation in communication as well as concerning stories and reports on where the company lies and what it's true purpose is. A lot of the 'soft benefits' have been completely removed, which whilst has saved some slight funds, the true cost has been an unsettlement of a number of experiences and loyal engineers which has hit productivity, output, morale and need to seek recruitment/replacement.

Pros

Under NaviNet, the company was well respected, CEO 95% approval rating, great ad-hoc benefits, constant innovation, sales increasing, high morale.

Cons

Once acquired by NantHealth, CEO and most perks disappeared. New company missed projected sales by 70% (in other lines of business) due to stubbornness/denial of someone in the C-Suite. This led to mass layoffs across all lines.
