Pros
Large company that isn't going anywhere. There are always openings internally. I think NSF genuinely wants to be an employee conscious company.
Cons
Though there are opportunities for advancement, the logic behind filling those positions is not sound. You need to have the right friend, in the right place, at the right time. Though - I suspect that is a theme in corporate America in general. In my opinion, management is naive to how employees actually feel. There is high turnover.
