You will suffer, commiserate and plan your escape with some highly educated, talented, but demotivated working level staff members. International environment very interesting.
Cons
Upper management is an absolute joke, comprised largely of cast-offs from national staffs, uninvested in the long-term success of the organisation. Never have I seen anything close to the current levels of dysfunction. The absolute contempt shown for staff is stunning. Should you be desperate enough to take a position, be prepared to be treated like a nappy (soiled upon and discarded). Visits to the HQ office will remove your will to live. Organization in an absolutely dire state.
