Pros

I guess some of the people there are cool. Just not the ones who influence big decisions or company culture or employee wellbeing or good creative. Oh, and they pass out beer every now and then. That's nice. I mean, it's not like it's the best beer, but it does the job, and it's free.

Cons

1. Don't expect to ever advance there. 2. Don't expect any respect. 3. Don't expect any useful creative direction. 4. Don't expect any good clients. 5. Don't expect the support of management. 6. Do expect a stagnant salary. 7. Do expect to see positions with high salaries that do nothing. Ever. 8. Do expect to move to another city when you're ready for a change (which will come soon). 9. Do expect grumbling, cattiness and complaining from employees about the state of things. 10. Do expect to see the people you like leave quickly or be let go.

Allowed flexibility at the job. Very professional group of people that I worked with.

Thought the salary was a little low for Senior Buyers.

Pros

Great access to resources and amazing city that is growing. Healthcare and benefits are generous. Food is available at the office every day.

Cons

All smoke and mirrors. When you join the team, you will be immediately greeted and sized up. If you don't fit in with the click, you will be pushed out of the social circle, which in turn keeps you from succeeding, as success is determined by your social connections at Mullen. Your reviews will happen without you being present. There is zero work life balance. Essentially you have entered high school. Inappropriate behavior runs rampant at the office. Overly intoxicated rep outings are an embarrassment. There is no training. If you are coming in, and unfamiliar with a process or software, expect a five year outdated book to be dropped on your desk that is of no help at all. Most important thing to take away from these glass door reviews....if you don't fit in with the click, you will be pushed out. The louder you are the more attention you get. Don't expect support unless you have something to trade in turn.
