Salary is a huge perk, you get more perks if you have a close personal relationship with the high-ups
Cons
Getting ahead in the company has nothing to do with talent and performance and everything to do with who you hang out with. Upper management has little or no clue how things are run. I have seen millions spent on nothing. There is no culture of trust or transparency, although they say otherwise. Sadly, the culture rewards those who don’t perform.
