Pros

I have had the opportunity to consult with Mountain View Concepts since it's inception. The management team has always been professional, communicative and receptive. I work with both of their administrators on a daily basis and they are A PLEASURE: loyal, energetic and oh so positive!

Cons

I wish I could share in the fun / be in office daily, but I am just a consultant and therefore work remotely.

Pros

Mountain View Concepts has friendly employees who connect with you to make you a better person and be successful in the job.

Cons

This job is nothing like I thought it was going to be. In fact, it did not even match the position that I applied for. During the interview, they will tell you all about their Management Training Prgram and claim that you will make $75,000 in 6 months to a year but, they overload you with information so it is a little unclear about what your doing until you start the job. Be aware that this is a sales job, even if the job description you applied for says otherwise. You stand inside a Walmart or Sam's Club selling products that remind you of things you would see in an infomercial. Also, they have you wear business professional clothing in the office but, you are only in the office for an hour everyday and then you are in the stores the rest of the time, so don't bother sending lots of money on work attire. It is commission based pay, which is also something that they were a little unclear about in the interview as well. However, they will compensate you for fuel, which was nice. Also, they have a high turnover rate of employees. Every person, out of 5 people, that I was hired with quit within the first 3 weeks. Then, they hired more people and some of those people quit within the same time frame as well. The high turnover rate lowers the overall morale of the other employees and makes new ones question thier own position.

Thank you for leaving a review for Mountain View as well as commenting on how incredible our team is! Our company has a four round interview process that highlights and breaks down each phase of our training program as well as gives an individual a bird's eye view of what the position does entail, so that way all individuals going through the interview process have a clear understanding. Our job descriptions always include the sales portion of what our business does, as well as the communication strategies, marketing techniques and leadership development an individual can gain through working with our company. While any business strives to have a low turnover rate, we found that it is best to have a multiple round interview process to make sure it is a good fit for both our company and the individual. If someone decides that Mountain View is not a good fit for them, there are no hard feelings attached; instead encouragement of this individual going on to find a position that better fits their needs. Because of our expansion as well as the opening of our new location in Birmingham, AL, Mountain View is constantly looking for the right individuals for our team who are excited to gain more knowledge in sales, marketing and management. Should you have any further feedback for us, feel free to give our office a call or email us directly at management@mountainviewconcepts.com. We would love to chat further with you!
