Pros

- Great work-life balance - No hovering or monitoring what employees are doing at all times of the day - As long as the work gets done well, no questions are usually asked - Most managers are great

Cons

- Pay is not competitive at all (at very low end of spectrum) - Raises are abysmal if there are any - Extremely high turnover rate (people leave, not getting fired) which in turn leads to existing employees picking up additional responsibilities since majority of the team is new - Performance does not correlate to compensation increases - Internal movement possible, but do not expect significant pay bumps if any (was told that HR literally is limited just due to policy for whatever reason) - Culture is flooded with older people stuck in their ways from a work perspective as well as sexist/racist remarks - Sometimes there is no support from internal department and some project management will side with the customer in order to save themselves

Pros

Great work environment and great people. Flexibility to make your own decisions and steer the organization the way you see fit.

Cons

Constantly connected to the job, even after hours. Hard to disconnect.

Pros

I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

Cons

That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.
