Pros

Great team locally. Senior leadership group is solid and the company focuses on promoting from within. The significant effort that is required of you to complete your work will be recognized by management, sometimes it takes patience, but the grass isn't always greener, folks. All staff are generally highly motivated and the output shows this. Another great feature of this company is the national scale and breadth of sectors they are involved with. If you desire to construct a wind farm, for example, let it be known and you will be on your way.

Cons

This is a process heavy company and this can be daunting for mid-career project managers used to the free-wheeling ways of many companies. Multiple tiers and top-heavy structure can make it a long climb up the ladder.

Pros

- Huge company with a lot of resources. - Cool projects.

Cons

- Pay is not great especially for the amount of hours they want you to put in. - They do not pay for experience. So, it’s a good place to start, but if you have experience, go somewhere else. - They hire and promote way too quickly which means inexperienced people are in charge. - If you work in the field, you will be putting in 50-60 hours a week often and they justify it by saying you get subsistence. Do the math, you’re not getting paid very well at those hours even with subsistence. Also subsistence is a benefit for traveling, not justification for overusing employees. - While a lot of the people are good, it is a very political atmosphere.
