      Pros

      Moog has a very strong reputation, not only for the talented employees and incredible products, but also for the amazing culture. Upon joining Moog, I came to realize the organization outperforms its strong reputation. It is truly a special place to build a career and work alongside very smart and passionate people. In so many ways, Moog is progressive in its business practices. There is a true value of people at Moog, unlike any other organization I have been a part of. Leadership is strong across the organization and always focused on doing the right thing. When meeting long-tenured employees I continue to be impressed with the diverse work they have done at Moog - evident that you can build a strong and lasting career in multiple fields, if you desire.

      Cons

      I wouldn't consider this a con; however, Moog is large, and somewhat complex organization. It's important to take one's time when starting with the company and there are plenty of people to help.

      Pros

      I have been at MOOG for over two weeks now in the Salt Lake City, Utah facility. Everyone is very friendly and helpful in a very positive and welcoming atmosphere.

      Pros

      You are surrounded by excellent colleagues across all departments, with the exception of Government Property.

      Cons

      The Government Property team suffers from severe leadership deficiencies and a toxic work culture. The Senior Manager has a well-documented history of high turnover, carrying a reputation from her previous role where team members actively sought transfers. Under this leadership, promotions are actively discouraged through targeted hostility and fabricated performance issues. Because the management team lacks foundational people skills and prior leadership experience, employee retention is critically low. While other departments within the organization offer great opportunities for growth, transferring into or staying within Government Property is highly discouraged.
