Pros
It was a fun place to work while it lasted. Most people were friendly. A lot of random and good experience to be had.
Cons
Poor management and even more poor financial decision making. One engineer with 10 years of experience there approved a $1 million conveyor belt project to speed up one circuit, when this circuit was already one of the fastest areas... this money should have been spent elsewhere...The same engineer also proposed a plan to the bankruptcy team that explained their original plan to keep half of the site in operation to make LREC was a bad idea, and that LREC wasn't even necessary. Then the bankruptcy team decided that since LREC wasn't necessary, they were better off shutting the entire site down and firing over 95% of the workers. Very strange and suspicious behavior and decision making by a lot of people involved.
