Pros
I loved working at Mojo! There are too many reasons to list, but here are a couple:
1. I learned so much during my Mojo tenure - leadership gave me a lot of autonomy, the room to make mistakes (and to celebrate those mistakes as learnings), and a generous professional development budget. My colleagues were very generous with their time, and very willing teachers
2. I had an incredible manager who let me shape the role into what I wanted it to be, really listened to me, and made me feel so valued and supported. And, despite being very busy as one of the co-founders and the COO, he dedicated so much time to my development and happiness at Mojo
3 I love my fellow Mojitos! We had a lot of fun together from playing bananagrams in the office to team socials
4. The mission - It’s extremely motivating to work on something that truly changes lives and to hear directly from Mojo members about how life-changing the product is. It also shapes the culture, because everyone is there to help people
Also the pay is really competitive, and there’s a great work/life balance
Cons
There was high turnover during my time there, but Mojo has revamped hiring practices and is investing a lot in the team, so hopefully there won’t be more turnover
