Pros
- Co-workers are friendly and seniors are helpful. - One able to adapt and work efficiently.
Cons
Working environment/culture - Company encourages overtime (OT). Employees are not allowed to leave on time. - If one works fast or finished their tasks early, the leads will give more work which leads to OT. - Often one has to OT on the weekends and public holidays. - Each department are separated which leads to a lot of miscommunications or no communications. - No work-life balance. - Strong hierarchy system. Benefits - None. No allowance, no bonus, no EPF (this only applies to Malaysian). - Salaries often get delayed. - The amount of workload and one salary doesn’t reflect accurately. For instance, a junior sometimes will be working on mid or senior quality work. Leads - Bad in management which ends up unreasonable amount of workload. - Fail to follow feedbacks from clients. Tend to resolve with their solutions and force their team to follow them. Hence, infinity cycle between clients and leads’ feedbacks. - Gives unreasonable feedbacks even though projects are near deadlines. - Leads don’t have a clear direction on the projects. So the team tends to confuse, which leads to a lot of unnecessary work. - Refuse to listen suggestions from the team. - Likes to blame one or the team whenever things are not in their favor. - Tend to insult one’s work. - Bad temper and no patience to teach or guide juniors. CEO/Project manager - Poor project management skills, creates inhumane schedules. - Only listens to the higher ups or clients, not the employees.
