Pros

Pay is good for the job: customer service, warehouse, etc.

Cons

There are a lot to say about this work place, but I'll keep it simple... 1. Poor management and business operation 2. Poor quality control (cheap products) 3. Poor communication 4. They play favoritism 5. They micromanage a lot 6. They don't hire enough people for the job, especially for the busy holidays. Overtime is mandatory to finish the work. They make everyone, especially warehouse, to work on holidays. 7. They don't follow most American laws (owners are Chinese) Also, you can't have a life working here, your life revolves around ming's mark. No freedom.

Ming's Mark Response

Hi there, Thank you for your review! We're constantly trying our best to improve and your review is an important part of the process. I'm so sorry you felt that we had poor communication, but we want you to know that upper management has an open door policy, so if there is anything you want to address or have questions about, we'd love to hear it! In addition, we do try our best to hire enough employees during the holidays, which is our peak season among other huge employers (Amazon), so it is very competitive when trying to hire during the holidays. We understand the workload is huge for a small warehouse staff, however, we do announce any mandatory overtime days ahead of time, so you'd be able to let us know if you can't make it. We appreciate the time you spent working with us! Best of luck, Marilyn L. General Manager Ming's Mark Inc.

Pros

Family style culture - owners care and try to give as much as they can as far as benefits - Medical insurance is covered 70%, 401K contributions are matched at the max level, Dental is covered 90%. 1 week paid vacation and 401K benefits after 1 year Sick paid time that accrues starting on the first day Medical and Dental insurance after 90 days Employee discounts on products - you get to buy the company's products at a very generous discount Full kitchen set up as a lunch room, their marketing team are always testing products, so sometimes there is cooked food to eat. Paid 10 minute breaks Monthly birthday lunches - birthday employees get a small gift Flexible with attendance - management and owners know that life happens, so you're not scrutinized when you miss a day or come in late unless it becomes a bad habit and you're calling out once every week or so. Opportunity to learn new skills or develop your skill set - the company is medium sized and growing meaning there's opportunity for growth within the company.

Cons

Holidays are super busy, so there is mandatory overtime if you're backed up on work No shaded parking
