Pros
The staff is a great group of warm people who feel, at times, more like family. The Benefits are unmatched, with a robust 401K and PTO structure. At the technician level, you can find industry veterans with years of experience under their belt-real problem solvers. For all the difficult and challenging productions that MBN pulls off, it is the technicians that deserve the credit.
Cons
There are a handful of staff members mailing in work. Putting the minimum amount of effort to get by. This could be because hard work and extra effort are not recognized or even encouraged from a top down perspective. Executive management is often disconnected with overall operations, but is very heavy handed in micro managing staff level culture (not operations). Lots of rules related to where and when you can be sitting, or what you should be wearing, or how to spend your down time. Not enough focus on collaboration, communication, project debriefs. The micro managing is perceived as a lack of trust and respect for the high performers. Too often, i witnessed sweeping corrective actions on the entire group, when surgical actions were a better perscription.
