Oh this is a list:
1. They make you work during hurricanes. As consequence, during Harvey what few employees stayed were stranded at a hotel next to the store for about 3 days with no change of clothes.
2. Home office is a bunch of jerks. A representative came down in earlier in 2018 and actually made fun of the employees who didn't want to drive into work while there was snow on the ground because we were afraid of the other drivers.
3. 4$ per hour base pay + commissions sounds great, until you're working 3+ hours unloading heavy totes for only 4$ 3 days out of the week. Also, they have been hiring more people to help their numbers look good, but depletes your paycheck. ALOT.
4. Prepare to get sick. Management doesn't care if you have Pneumonia, Bronchitis, or the common cold. You will be required to come in or risk penalization. As a result, sickness spreads like wildfire through that store every Winter. This is not an exaggeration. I have seen it. People come in with the full on flu and passed it out like candy to every single person.
5. Customers will call you every name in the book and you will have no choice but to take it from them like the corporate slave you are.
These are just a few things I can think of on the fly, but I think everyone gets the picture.
