Pros

Very friendly people, management in my division is made up of a lot of really good people that are great at listening. Benefits package is great for most people but if you are healthy and take care of your body then it is useless and really overpriced. Wish the healthy didnt have to pay for the lazy to get better. A lot of freedom in your work day, at least for me there is. My boss expects me to be able to do my job and since I do my job well then theres no need for us to ever talk and no need for my boss to micromanage me.

Cons

No path to promotion. No raises. Going above and beyond with your job here isnt rewarded in any way, its expected. The company is starting to become more about politics, rather than hard work. If you want to succeed in this company you need to brown nose a lot and take down anybody you can. How the company is internally handling Covid-19 is horrible. We are told to come in and work and act like nothing is wrong and if you want to stay home then you cant because its company policy that no one works from home, but the world and our government is telling us to. So Michels is purposely making every single one of their employees stress out more then is needed in this time. If you are a field employee you will never get promoted, the only people in the company who get promoted are the corporate staff that actually works for corporate in Brownsville. If you are corporate but dont work in Brownsville then you will never be promoted, its very frustrating.
