Flexibility is nice, but work feels repetitive - Checker Metropolitan Market Employee Review

I’ve had to work for two metropolitan markets, one in Tacoma (temp) and one in gig harbor. Both had great people working there. I made good friends there and I felt very welcome. Employees who work there get a 20% discount in everything which is nice because the food quality there is great, there’s always something new to try there!

I would say the pay isn’t great; it’s a step up from working at Albertsons or any other entry job, but it’s not super livable unless you work there for a long time, 5 years plus.

Good people. Work life balance.

No growth opportunities. Stagnant learning.
