Pros

Extra 2.50 buck an hour for working on weekends Holiday bonus....that is if you work until December that's when it comes Profit sharing.....that is if you work for 1,000 hours or more AND stay with Menards after December 15th.

Cons

If you're an able bodied man, there's a chance of you to go out and get carts when there's heavy movement in-store and not a lot of carts to go around, ever since they raised the age to 18 and stopped hiring high schoolers, this is the part where they are short on able-bodied people that can go out and get carts in hot & cold weather for 4-6 hours a shift. They raised the age to get by federal labor regulations because even though the store closes at 10 or 9 during the winter hours, front-end employees have to stay to put away crap that the craptomers came and return crap that they don't want. No incentives to work on Black Friday. You are forced to work, if you don't and sleep in and play video games with your brother on Black Friday and return on Saturday morning to work, you'll get fired in two weeks

Pros

A few of the people are nice to work with.

Cons

A store manager who talks down to employees like they're children (and apparently gets promoted for it). A store manager who acts like employees are idiots for calling him to ask questions. Raises are pathetic. Understaffed because the store manager won't allow enough labor hours to do the job, particularly on Sundays when there's a lot of freight.
