Pros
I have not discovered many pros. I guess if you don't want to work many hours its a good place for you.
Cons
The management is all over the place. You will get told to do one thing and then get told to do another and then be yelled at for not finishing the first. They constantly try to scare employees by telling them that the "regional leadership" is coming in but we are told that almost every day. Time off requests are barely ever handled in a quick manner. The managers don't care about your problems and the pay is very low. I received no register training but am still expected to cashier. To be honest, I received very little to no training. Meijer is very anti union. I was told I would be getting between 15 to 24 hours between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but usually get less than that on different days.
