The leadership team, especially my direct managers, have been instrumental in my growth. They’ve consistently provided constructive feedback, mentorship, and the autonomy needed to take on more responsibility. Their open-door policy and willingness to discuss both career progression and challenges have made a significant impact on my professional development. In addition, Medidata’s emphasis on innovation and cutting-edge technology has allowed me to work on meaningful projects that are both challenging and rewarding. The collaborative culture within the company fosters teamwork, allowing for the exchange of ideas and best practices across departments. This level of collaboration has not only helped improve my technical skills but also honed my leadership capabilities. The company’s commitment to a work-life balance is another highlight. Remote Collaboration The remote collaboration has been quite productive, but the lack of in-person interaction sometimes leads to delays in resolving complex issues that would have been easier to handle face-to-face. 2. Team Dynamics & Relationship-Building The absence of face-to-face interaction has impacted the personal connections within the team. Virtual team-building activities or informal check-ins might help strengthen relationships 3. Overcoming Challenges I’ve adapted well to remote work by increasing communication, but it's harder to address sensitive issues or provide instant feedback. Finding ways to foster more personal engagement remotely could improve this.

The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

Cons

After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
