A Toxic Maze You Can’t Escape - Recruiter MedPro Healthcare Staffing Employee Review

Pros

The only “pros” are the ones written by leadership trying to cover up the toxic culture. If you’re desperate for a paycheck, you might survive here—but that’s about it.

Cons

Every department at this company is toxic, and favoritism and nepotism dominate the culture. Advancement has little to do with skill or results—what matters most is who you align with in leadership. Conflicts of interest are everywhere, and HR rarely acts in employees’ favor, often siding with management, leaving staff with virtually no recourse when issues arise. Training is a major problem. The trainers themselves seem completely unprepared, lost, or disengaged, often getting by without actually providing guidance or support. New hires are left to figure things out on their own, which only adds to the frustration and chaos. The recruitment “leaders” are just as lost—they don’t have buy-in from anyone, and honestly, they need to go back to Pet Supermarket where they belong. Hire some actual leaders who know how to lead. Company events are basically forced. Attendance is expected, and if you don’t participate, it is held against you in subtle or obvious ways. The work culture punishes individuality and enforces conformity, creating a constant sense of being trapped. Turnover is insane, with hires coming and going faster than leadership can manage. Micromanagement is extreme, with every action, expression, and behavior scrutinized, even when irrelevant to job performance. Boundaries are ignored, and inappropriate behavior is tolerated as long as you don’t speak up—if you do, management will often push you out rather than address the problem. Any positive reviews you see online are almost certainly written by leadership or employees trying to protect themselves, because the reality is far worse. Leadership seems more concerned with appearances than fixing systemic problems, and employee well-being is not a priority. You’re better off going elsewhere. If you value fairness, accountability, professionalism, and a workplace that actually rewards talent and effort, this is not the place for you. It is exhausting, frustrating, and emotionally draining to work in an environment where loyalty to toxic leadership outweighs competence, training is nonexistent, and turnover is rampant.

Pros

My recruiter, Stephanie Molina, knows me as an individual, not as just another recruit. She's ALWAYS available for me. The payroll crew are awesome. Very thorough and quick to respond.

Cons

They (like all agencies) don't have all the jobs you see out there. So sometimes you have to send them a posting.

Pros

Overall, my experience with MedPro has been wonderful. From the day I signed my contract until I arrived in the U.S., everything was absolutely tremendous. MedPro truly made my dream of working in the United States come true. All the departments worked professionally and efficiently to ensure my successful deployment to the U.S. When I was working in my home country, it was very difficult to manage both my job responsibilities and the stress of pursuing my dream to work abroad. MedPro took that burden off my shoulders—they handled every step and every document, which relieved a lot of my pressure and stress. I sincerely appreciate all the effort MedPro put into bringing me to the U.S. and making my dream a reality. Thank you, MedPro!

Cons

1- Breaking the contract early can involve financial penalties, since the company invests in visa processing, licensing, and relocation. 2- Although many people have smooth experiences, immigration, licensing, or placement timelines can sometimes take longer than expected.
