Pros

Junior staff -- really good social atmosphere and strong team bonding.

Cons

- Oppressive, slave-driver style management. - People are seen as disposable resources and treated like school children. - No work-life balance whatsoever, management expect people to work outside of work hours to learn things that should be trained on in the first few weeks or months. - Very little training given in the analytical team, expected to be fully competent within 3 months. I've seen people belittled and slowly forced out by passive aggressive means if you don't conform or learn quickly enough. - Tasks aren't clear and are seen as wrong if the results don't look right. - If anything goes wrong, it's always the scientists problem. It's never the instruments and management take NO responsibility for their teams errors. - Pay is lower than most companies, doing the same job.

Pros

With the merger behind the company everyone is working together to move the company forward. To keep the communication going the company holds regular Town Hall meetings.

Cons

You have to put in the work to get the job done

Pros

When I started, it was a great company with smart and dedicated employees. Everyone was willing to help - no job was beneath anyone. The culture was engaging-everyone worked hard but had fun. People wanted to see the company succeed and it felt like a family. After the 4th CEO in less than 2 years, it seems like they are a slowly sinking ship. Here the pros as it is in 2024: •It's a job if you absolutely need one. •The science is solid. The CSO is brilliant, and you hear him say focus on doing good science. •They somehow still manage to hire great people (for the most part) •Some leaders care about their people and are invested in their development.

Cons

•The "merger" appears to be less of a coming together of two companies and more of a Tergus Takeover. (Look at their reviews before applying) •They no longer view employees as people but instead headcount. •Pay is not equitable or transparent. •It's depressing so most are trying to leave.
