Pros

-Great pay -Supervisors provide dinners when work is heavier than normal -Supervisors and leads are extremely helpful, they’ve always been willing to explain things and take the time to help. -We are kept up to date as to what is going on in the company.

Cons

-Hours are always over 40 every week, you never know when you are going to go home. It isn’t as bad for night shift because it’s not like your missing much, but i imagine it is a lot more frustrating for day shift. Shifts range from 9-13 hours (5 days a week) -ATTENDANCE POLICY IS VERY STRICT! Each point you get lasts one year,(they never get wiped at one time) and you can only get 8 points. no call no show is 4 points, being late is 1, if you have an emergency or get sick and need to leave early it is half a point. -If you call in you have to use flex pto (i think you get 40 hours) any call ins after that you get 2 points for. -i understand that we have to be there to get the work done because patients need their medication, BUT i think they would have a lot more long lasting employees if they were more forgiving about the policy. -I am aware that supervisors often forgive people for being late and do not give them a point, for example I was 1 minute late to clock in one day and I explained to my supervisor that I arrived on time but my badge (which you need to enter the building) had fallen into a tight spot in my car, and it took a while to retrieve, but it was still counted late, (I did not miss stretching or anything at all) not complaining that they didn’t forgive me, BUT, I was told by a co worker that they had been late more than 10 minutes late and they were forgiven by the supervisor. It’s just frustrating knowing that other people get free passes for being extremely late. vs being 1 minute late when your attendance is otherwise perfect.

Pros

1. relatively aloof culture for ICs to grow on their own 2. on and off few people are good 3. Actually consultants in india are better than some full time hires to work with. The h1bs in full time roles and some GCs/Americans are just 1 step away from unemployment line but there are some good quality consultants who can be directed well to bring in good work. Problem is lack of direction when middle management is just running after money.

Cons

1. top most management is clueless to what is going post the middle tier 2. middle tiers - VPs/SVPs/Directors and Sr. Directors are among the worst. Mostly cast offs from Consulting firms/Tech cos/Other Healthcare firms, this group has some of the worst, clueless folks who just think very narrowly about how to get rid of problems, maybe craft a story for higher ups. Get rid of this layer ( so called people management ) and co. could shine better on the work of ICs, decent software engineers and regular rank and file. 3. Main money maker distribution is different from tech group and the IT here is almost comical - 2 years ago in 2024 there were "directors" bringing AI agents with 90% hallucination .. I mean that has got to be an industry first!
