Pros

1. Team: The team is outstanding, working hard to achieve the targets and performing well. 2. Salaries, compared to the Avg. in Egypt, pays very well.

Cons

1. No Training, during employment, the amount of training is not enough for the required tasks, however, if the person asks for training to complete a certain task, he would be blamed for not being good enough to complete it on his own. 2. "Not my business/Problem" & "I don't care" are two sentences that were being used a lot by the PM relief, for 90% of the things that we need his help on. 3. Bad Management's treatment towards the local employees especially from the PM relief. 4. No respect for the agreements between the Company and the employee "Contract & Job Description" and wanting to change it without mutual agreements between the two sides, which led to the termination of the contract and the employee not being a good person who is not matching the company's needs. 5. No appreciation for the efforts done by the employee. 6. No development plan, no career path mentioned by either the management or the HR. However, it was requested many many times. 7. Poor Compenastion and no respect for the words said about it.

Pros

There are a lot of really good people who work here!

Cons

The explosives business is tied to the mining business, and that's hard as commodity prices rise and fall and margins grow and are compressed. There are other industries that can throw money at problems. Here, you have to throw hard work and ingenuity at problems.

Pros

Interesting work in different locations. You work with different blasting companies every day. Many different skills to learn and different types of bulk trucks to operate.

Cons

Extremely physical labor and hours are inconsistent. Generally a winter layoff. Raises are few and far between and generally not very significant.
