Pros
The Store Leader and managers hired excellent coworkers. Store Leader made sure things were running smoothly without being an intimidating presence. When I was training or did not know something I was not scared to ask for help. My coworkers and managers were very nice, helpful, and great saleswomen.
Cons
The higher ups treated us horribly and had incredibly high expectations for the size of the community we were based in. They had no respect. During a snowstorm when the police, fire department, and ambulance services recommended that people do not leave their houses (because if an accident happened there was no guarentee they would be able to get to you), and schools had the first snow day since the 70s, the people at corporate said "Well, it's Canada. There's snow." and implied that if registers were not opened we could lose our jobs. Not a single person came in that day, obviously.
