Pros
Some really amazing team members and decent compensation.
Cons
Constant strategy pivots with no root in data, all made on leadership’s instincts. Company will go all in on a direction, only for everyone’s work to be thrown out when a new direction is decided. Poor internal communication means that many teams don’t learn of strategy pivots from management, but through word of mouth. Leadership is deeply inexperienced and overly confident. Family dynamic enables significant bad behavior at an executive level. Constant infighting at the executive level, with shifting and conflicting information about products and direction. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. Remote working environment is unsupported by company-wide communication SLAs and it further isolates team comms. Promotion philosophy is to do the job before changing title or pay, presumably to cut costs and maximize output. Everyone outside of management is demoralized and confused.
