Pros
PTO: The paid time off policy is decent and provides flexibility. Remote/Hybrid Work Model: This is definitely a perk, allowing for a balance between home and office work. Benefits: The benefits package is competitive and includes good health and wellness options.
Cons
Unrealistic Expectations: The work culture is a “sink or swim” mentality, with constantly shifting expectations that rarely align with what is realistically achievable. This leads to constant stress and tension within the team. Unreasonable Client Promises: The company frequently makes promises to clients that are simply unattainable, which results in an overwhelming workload and constant pressure to meet impossible deadlines. Lack of Communication: There is a serious lack of communication between Directors, VPs, and management, which creates confusion and chaos across teams. Zero Career Growth: There’s little to no guidance or structure when it comes to career development. If you're not part of the inner circle, you won’t find support or growth opportunities. Toxic Culture: If you raise concerns or ask questions, you’re often branded as a troublemaker, and this can lead to being sidelined or even terminated. The company culture is rigid, and those who don’t conform are not welcomed. HR Issues: HR is effectively controlled by the CFO, which makes it difficult to trust the HR system or seek assistance for workplace issues. The interests of the company, rather than the employees, always seem to come first. Management Issues: The management team is often secretive and disorganized, adding unnecessary work and stress before you even know what’s coming. Overloaded with Clients: You start with a set number of clients, but this quickly increases without any additional support, leading to unrealistic expectations on client management. Wasted Time: Time is often wasted creating weekly presentation decks that are never used or referenced.
