Pros
The lead generation and training are unmatched. I was at Keller Williams (KW) for 6 years before moving to Mark Spain Real Estate (MSRE), and I wish this company existed when I first started out as a realtor in 2014. If you’re just starting out as a realtor, you are not going to find quicker success anywhere else. If you’re a seasoned agent but business is slow, there will be no shortage of new clientele for you here. The appointment assignment system is based on algorithms, and your own level of involvement determines your own success. The business structure of dividing the roles into buying and listing agents seems odd at first, but it actually creates a team building environment that greatly benefits both agents and adds a whole additional layer of lead generation through team to team referrals. I highly recommend this company whether you’re just starting out or you’re an experienced agent who is looking to be busier. I guarantee you if you’re not seeing success where you’re at, switching to MSRE will absolutely pay off. 10/10 recommend.
Cons
There are no downsides, but there are things to consider. This is a more corporate environment than most brokerages, because they invest A LOT of money into advertising. So while you’re a 10-99 contractor, you are expected to attend morning meetings (30 mins 3 days a week via zoom), and to work together with the team. Being a lone wolf entrepreneur is great, but you need to balance that and stay a part of the team and find ways to contribute.
