Pros
As faculty, you get opportunities to teach different products. You can get trained to teach any product that they offer. You can also have different types of teaching- classroom, 1-1, institution, online, and so on. Student inflow is good and there is satisfaction from teaching. There are all expense paid outings to relax from the hectic schedule. As far as the classroom-student-teaching goes, it is a very good place. Although Saturday-Sundays are working, one gets time enough to balance personal and work life. Holidays are sufficient and flexible to suit everyone's need.
Cons
Worst management ever. The middle and top management have no clue about academics and they are running an academic organization. The management acts as if selling test-prep products are same as selling mobile phone or television. Therefore there is lack of coordination between academic team and the sales&marketing team. There is a heavy feeling of frustration and anger. With regard to salary, they have a bonus component in the gross salary, which when given is a paltry sum. Although it is part of the salary, the KRAs are so designed that the employee would hardly achieve it. So in 2-3 years, an employee, whose bonus component might be 70K-90K/year, might get 20k-30K bonus once in 2-3 years. There is no clarity in their reasons, that is if they give one. Coordination among different departments is lacking. There is no team spirit. Each department is out to get the other and there is a free for all blame game. One another disadvantage is that there isn't any career growth.
