Pros

The nice thing I can say is that I have met a lot good hardworking people. We all have a common ground that, we hate working at Magna.

Cons

Upper management do not a clue how to run a company. For example there is not any communication between one shift to the other. It is always assemblers fault that we do not get our numbers, even though it might be because a robot broke down or maybe we ran out of materials we work with. Another issue they do not provide adequate amount of hand tools. Long hours and not much of a balance between family and work. You have a 6 months probation period. Never see plant manager on the floor. I have heard supervisors curse at employees. I have seen management just walk off and quit. I love working in manufacturing but this place is a nightmare.

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits were pretty good.

Cons

They matched GM's schedule and daily numbers which is fine if you're willing to work but it's a teamwork environment and always someone either not pulling their weight or something breaking down or I.T. issues makes 8hr days 10-12hr days OR car sells slow and you barely get 4-6hrs daily. There's no normal/smooth days or family life.
