Pros

I've been working with the Directors of Madison Trust Company for over 5 years, and I have always been impressed with their kind and caring approach. Employees are treated with tremendous respect and are hardly ever criticized. One of the things I love about working at Madison is the opportunity for growth. When an employee requests a change in job duties, Management is open to evaluating the possibility, and implementing the change if appropriate. Also, the team at Madison is friendly and fun, yet professional at the same time. You'll be greeted to happy chatter and laughter any time you walk into the office. It's nice to work in a place where the employees are happy to come to work every day! There is a strong level of camaraderie, where everyone pitches in to help each other out.

Cons

Right now we are working in tight quarters, which can be a challenge due to the high noise volume. However we are moving to a very spacious location in the next few months, so this issue should be resolved.

Pros

Company culture was great under prior leadership, when being a good employee was valued. The environment is helpful is you're looking to grow and challenge yourself.

Cons

Leadership and management practices were one of the biggest challenges during my time at the company. Over several years, I observed multiple employees leave involuntarily, including individuals who had recently been promoted. What stood out was the apparent lack of candid feedback and development conversations leading up to those decisions. Employees often seemed unaware that their performance or standing was a concern until significant action was taken. A healthy workplace culture requires managers to provide clear expectations, ongoing coaching, direct feedback, and opportunities for improvement. When multiple employees experience similar outcomes under the same leadership, it is worth evaluating whether management practices, communication, and support structures are contributing factors.
