The worst security company with zero support or benefits! - Security Guard Madison Security Employee Review

Madison Security is HANDS DOWN unquestionably THE WORST security company in NYC. Possibly the worst security company in the country. Madison hires the worst of the worst. Incompetent, inept, irresponsible guards are the vast majority of people Madison Security hires. Madison Security is stuck in the Stone Age and DOESN'T HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT. You have to literally pick up your paycheck from the office. In addition to that, Madison doesn't pay overtime. If a guard is late to relieve you (and they usually are) then you must stay on post FOR FREE. There is some nonsense about how you're paid $1 every 5 mins you stay after your shift but you never see the difference on your paycheck. If you call out from work you are first threatened with termination and then removed off the schedule entirely. You cannot return to your schedule unless you talk with HR first. Human Resources always backs the company and whoever is higher in rank. They're absolutely useless & never have your back. You can't even sign in easily. There is like a 3 way sign in system where you use TWO apps AND you have to call dispatch to alert them that you're on post. Absolutely ridiculous. Madison loses all their sites regularly due to their useless account managers who have no idea how to manage. Anytime Madison gets a new contract it's most likely due to a hookup/connection but never because of their reputation. Look online and see the reviews. Madison Security is a 1 out of 5 star company. Madison literally gives themselves positive reviews on job sites because anyone who ever worked for them exposes their lack of professionalism and just overall low quality. TLDR Summary: Madison is the worst company in NYC No overtime Low pay No direct deposit Will change your schedule behind your behind your back without your consent No call outs. If you call out you're punished and removed off schedule. Loses contracts frequently. Hires the worst guards (addicts, felons, criminals, anti social personalities) AVOID AT ALL COST.
