To discover a company who can’t grow because their top management is toxic and/or incompetent is a life lesson you may want to avoid but to believe it you have to live it.
Cons
CEO is completely absent and only talks to his direct reports. These seem to accept his unrealistic vision of what a company should be and deploy their best effort to share that unhealthy pressure. Middle managers are either incompetent or fired, clearly not listened to when they try to change things. Over the last few months they lost a lot of people but with a turnover if 40% that seems to be a routine for them. Each time someone quits or gets fired they talk about performance issues or a culture misfit - if you can’t retain your employees the problem might be the culture. People get hired at high salaries and given no chance to have an impact or the means to do it and then get fired because they don’t play along. To colleagues still there: you are not in a good place and it’s not your fault. What happens there is not what worklife looks like in normal companies.
