Pros

More than 50% of FT employees received this email in the early morning hours of 6/5/26 while most were asleep. Those reading this review should draw their own conclusions about the company’s culture. Today, MIND Education is announcing the elimination of a number of roles across the organization. Your role is one of the roles being eliminated, and your employment with MIND Education is ending effective immediately. This decision is the result of the challenging financial realities we are facing and the difficult choices required as part of our restructuring to ensure the long-term continuation of our mission. We are communicating this news directly and clearly. Managers will not be asked to deliver this news separately, and teams will not be expected to gather afterward. Sometime in the next few days, you will receive a communication to your personal email containing general information about your transition, including details related to timing, benefits, final pay, and available support. That will be followed by a separate ‘SendSafely’ email with information specific to you. If you have questions, reach out to HR and other resource contacts noted in the paperwork. Access to company computers and systems has been disabled. Reply to this email with your personal email address and phone number in order to receive final documentation. Your access to Outlook will be removed by 10am PT (1pm ET). We are not in a financial position to offer severance to employees affected by this reduction, but we believe that most, if not all, affected employees will become eligible for unemployment compensation and we will provide you with information about the application process. Thank you for what you have given to this mission and for the work and commitment you have brought to MIND Education and to this community. MIND Leadership and MIND Board

Cons

Newly hired as well as 10+ year tenured employees received the same communication.

Pros

Great lower level people to work with, very dedicated.

Cons

The board of directors has no interest in the well being of the employees and have mismanaged the company to the point of having to lay off over 50% of their workforce.
