Pros
I was working for 3 weeks not much good to say
Cons
To begin, I want to clarify that I am on the autistic spectrum, which influences my processing speed. Despite this, I was eager and excited to take on this job opportunity. I consider myself a diligent worker, yet unfortunately, I was not afforded the chance to prove myself.
From the outset, my supervisor, Vicki, displayed hostility, arrogance, and unkindness towards me. This created a challenging environment where I felt unsupported and undervalued. Despite my best efforts, I was never allowed to excel in my role. Instead, there was an unrealistic expectation for perfection after just three days, prioritizing speed over accuracy.
In most workplaces, the emphasis is typically on training for accuracy first, with speed improving over time. Regrettably, this approach was not extended to me. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of Vicki's manager or boss, no action was taken to address the situation.
Furthermore, I experienced a distressing incident where I was accosted and threatened with bodily harm by another employee, whose commendation as a model employee ironically hangs on the wall. This experience has left me feeling disillusioned and disheartened.
Overall, the treatment I received during my time at the company fell far short of what I expected and deserved. It is my hope that by sharing my experience, positive changes can be implemented to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.
