Pros

There are no pros. Pay is straight commission. They will make the job seem amazing during the interview. But don't let them fool you, you will be out walking door to door.

Cons

Don't be fooled, this job is door to door sales. If you enjoy that, great. If not, this is not the place you want to work.

Pros

Extremely positive and encouraging employees and very team-oriented

Cons

The work is primarily door-to-door sales for the first year; even afterwards, you still go out into the field from time-to-time. It is also only commissioned until you get into the third stage (a couple years down the road), then you get benefits at that time, too. Since it was commissioned, I wasn’t even paid for the two days I was with them. They say NOTHING about any of this in the interview. If I had known what it was, I wouldn’t have applied. In fact, one person left halfway through her first day because she, like the rest of us, had no idea about any of this. In fact, the employees expect this to happen; they told me they “try to weed people out during the interview process, but there’s only so much you can learn from a thirty minute interview” (which I don’t believe is true, and mine actually was about five to ten minutes long). They expect people to leave in the first few weeks because “it’s not for everyone” and “we can tell when someone won’t make it,” and you only get drug-tested and background-checked after the first month or so. If you like door-to-door sales, do it. Otherwise, don’t be drawn into the fancy trap.
