Pros
The people working inside of the restaurant were always great to work with and always willing to work together and really be a friendly environment within the four walls. Worked for Luna grill for almost 4 years, Promotions from within, I started as a cashier and worked up to General Manager. BOH receives free shift meals. ESL classes. Provide servsafe classes for managers without certification. safety of guests with thorough inspections and action plans. Cleanliness and organization standards. Safety conciencous of employees
Cons
Home office is very "cliquey" Not a healthy work/life balance. Not a healthy work environment with "home office" too much gossip and drama from people within corporate that are well past their teen years to be this full of drama. I saw too many people that worked hard that were always passed up for promotions because certain friends/ family members wanted the position not qualified for. Too focused on expansion plan without listening to the needs of the restaurants that are struggling I.e the real fuel to your ever expanding brand. BOH (kitchen staff) paid very poorly for the high demanded strenuous labor that is required from them. Proceed with restaurant openings without restaurant being fully staffed. "Merit Increase" is not worth the increase that you're team is expecting for the hard efforts most are putting in especially BOH. Receiving calls on your day off that you are expected to answer
