Medical director is very impersonal and promises leadership opportunities and career growth within the organization which are never supported or followed up on. He is difficult to access for questions or problems. I had one patient on my panel the whole year despite being told I could work up to a panel of 10-20. You get paid per patient, pay is low and unsustainable to live on. Lack of personal connection with leadership because thrrr are never any meetings or check-ins for feedback. It’s like they hire you and then don’t care what you do at all. Main person you interact with is an administrative assistant who has little medical experience. Interview process was weird - they interviewed a person along with me who had no medical license.
