Pros
As a new rapidly growing company there are many opportunities to advance. They do some outside hiring but most new positions are filled internally (leadership). The customers are great, and the work environment is very nice. If you work hard and prove yourself you will get raises (though very very small). The owners are very nice people and are very involved in the day to day things around the store. The owners will always back you up in the rare event of an upset customer.
Cons
They provide NO benefits of any kind (as of July 2001). Managers work very irregular and long hours and are called in on a regular basis. There is very little management support and training, so if you want to be successful you need practical experience. The biggest downside is that there is little performance feedback from the ownership and upper management. They will smile in your face and tell you you are doing a good job and privately be seeking to replace you for not meeting their expectations. This is where a good foundation and experience come into play. With time these things may go away, but for now this is a reality of this company that you have to consider before working with them.
