Pros
Logz.io is a stable company with a lot of challenges to solve (great opportunity for my profession), so lots of products and features to define, develop and maintain the work done in past years. Overall the working force in the company is a professional and very good group of humans, I enjoy meeting my co-workers in the office and since logz.io is in hybrid mode I can also work from home and the office is dog friendly so my Cardi is welcome and loved as well. They are giving me full freedom and trust to do my thing which is great but I still have professionals to lean on and get from.
Cons
Logz.io is open source as a service so there are many limitation and constructs which can be a hustle for a my type of job, but still a challenging work is so much better then a boring one. In the past, all 4 products teams under logz.io worked as separated units feels like there are 4 different startups within this big startup, which made different workflows and feeling that there is no structure to the product workflow. this is now in high efforts to create a fusion between the department and change it all for the better - it is being felt already.
