Pros
Able to move up in the company. You personal know most people working in the company if your at mgmt level. Very fast paced and can be exciting at times. Not a difficult job if everyone sticks to the script.
Cons
lack of professionalism from the top down (some exceptions). no hiring standards or strategy seen in mostly minimum wage and part time employees. Most employees do not take their job seriously or care about the goals of the company. They will and do hire whoever comes through the door. No humble or thoughtful support from upper mgmt.
