Pros
Working with the public and making a difference.
Cons
It is wonderful to work for. Dr. Singleton. He is an amazing alternative doctor to work for, however, his wife comes in and throws a wrench in the works. She is very negative and reactive and only comes in about once a week, Definitely a down side to working here. It is family owned and if you can handle the politics and the dynamics of a family owned business with different rules for the family members than other employees, you might do okay here... The turn over rate is extremely high and we have to hire new technicians, marketing staff and office staff about every three to six months. That makes it really hard for existing employees to cover. There are no benefits, no background checks and no drug testing. They also require you to work one Saturday a month but they do pay you overtime. Do not miss a day of work here or you could very well be let go. Absolutely no tolerance. The worst part about this company is that they got into trouble a few years back and had to go through bankruptcy, so they reopened using their parents and under age children's credit to refinance the business. That is probably the hardest thing about working for this company at present. There seems to be a lot of dishonesty at the helm. They do not value their employees and Nancy Singleton thinks that everyone is replaceable and treats you as such. So if you are someone who does not care how your employer treats you, this may very well be a great place for you to work.
