- Management care about your work and the impact that you make day-to-day; the features that you work on matter. - Agile product delivery means new and interesting projects come up regularly - The feedback culture means that you get honest, open conversations with all team members - The company is very up-to-date in terms of technology, meaning currently there is a focus on getting the most out of AI and learning about the latest tools. This will prove invaluable as the industry moves more into agentic AI. - Flexible working allows you to work hours that suit your personal life

Cons

- Being a small team that deliver impactful features means that you have to ensure everything you are working on is delivering that impact. This can be quite a change for people coming from other companies.

Pros

Learn Amp truly embodies its company values in everything it does. You’ll always feel supported no matter which department you belong to, everyone is approachable, collaborative, and genuinely cares about helping one another succeed. Leadership here sets a strong example; managers act as true leaders, not just bosses, fostering trust and empowerment within their teams. The company actively listens to employee feedback, your voice is heard, and your opinions and suggestions are genuinely valued and considered. There’s a real commitment to both personal and professional growth, with a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement. It’s an inspiring place to develop your career while being part of a culture that genuinely invests in its people.

Cons

Because the company’s product is so extensive and ever-evolving, it can be hard to switch off after your shift, especially when you’ve just discovered something new or interesting. I often find myself continuing to test, explore, and unpick the product even outside of working hours, simply because it’s so engaging and mentally stimulating. If you’re someone who prefers routine or repetitive tasks, this might not be the right fit. Every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities, and some issues can require deep investigation and testing to fully understand. It’s a workplace that keeps your curiosity constantly active.

Pros

I’ve been at Learn Amp for around six months and it’s been an extremely positive experience so far. The company gives you a lot of autonomy and flexibility in how you work, which I’ve found both motivating and empowering. The team is full of smart, supportive, and genuinely wonderful people who make collaboration enjoyable. Our all hands days are lots of fun, as are office days, collaborative sessions, socials, etc. The product itself is really interesting, yet the team are constantly innovating and enhancing. There is always something new or improved being worked on. Operationally, there are well-defined processes in place, but also plenty of room to experiment and bring your own ideas to the table. The customers are ambitious and trying to achieve exciting things within Learning & Development, so as someone with a broad background in education and learning, I find this incredibly fascinating and rewarding. I feel very inspired to help them help their people.

Cons

So far I haven't experienced any cons for me, but I appreciate that we're all different and start up style environments aren't for everyone - although Learn Amp is far more mature than a typical start up. Here are some potential cons for others: The product is interesting but not out of the box, so there’s a steep learning curve at first, The customer base is varied and can be challenging, but that also means the work is rewarding and impactful (as both the challenges and the impact is on real people!) The flexibility and autonomy might not suit everyone — it works best for self-starters.
